Because there's just too much ugliness.

Men are like shoes

Been doing a lot of music videos lately so I figured I'd show something completely different. These are just some photos my brothers and I stumbled onto and found very...eye catching. Not so lovely in itself, but I think good humor is lovely.

Hope you get a smile.

Ps: the title is a Shania Twain song. If you've never heard it, look it up.

Hollywood Affected My Brains.

Another one that is highly debatable. I think she's incredibly gorgeous, she's got a crazy original voice....no, i might as well stop there. As my sister said, we think the whole thing is just "stellar." The lyrics catch me across the throat cuz they're too accurate.
She's flippin cool!

If you like, let me know! There's more by her.

Meet Marina, the half Welsh, half Greek lead singer of Marina and the Diamonds. Her "diamonds" she says, are her fans.
That would make me a diamond.

you HAVE to listen to it through completely before making a judgement. It grows on you, I promise.

Cannes

There's been many stunning gowns so far, but I really can't pay attention to any of them, since this particular one leaves them all so far in the dust.
I've never been a fan of Cate Blanchett. I"m still not, I didn't like her in Elizabeth or in Benjamin Button, though they were both excellent movies and she's a great actress. I just don't think she has a winning personality, and is certianly not pretty.

But even Cate cannot manage to dull this gown grandeur!!

Alexander McQueen had a mind for fashion that I don't think will be seen again in my lifetime. I miss him already.

Click on the photo to see the back, its also perfect.

Upside Down

Sorry there's been nothing for awhile. I just finished finals week (very NOT lovely!), so now hopefully I'll have more time to hunt for beautiful things. I've missed it.

If you're a fan of April Smith and the Great Picture Show, then you'll probably love Paloma Faith. If you've never heard of April Smith, go check out "Maybe" by her first, and then return to view Paloma. April's definitely cooler.

First discovered Paloma Faith while watching The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. She's only in 2 scenes, but I thought she was very eye catching. I discovered she was a musician, and here's what I came up with!
If you like this, I also love "New York" and "Technicolour" by her.

Very quirky, bluesy, old fashioned sound. Enjoy!
